Where did those tears come from?

As I was driving home from my daughters house last night, I heard the DJ on KLOVE radio talking about him and his wife attending a program their daughter was in. About half way through, he said they looked at each other and realized they both had tears in their eyes. He asked the listeners "where do you think those tears came from?" My answer.....they are called "Tears of Pride". I cry them...a lot. Sometimes, you can catch me crying like a baby!! You will find them, too.....the first time you hold your new baby, the first smile, laugh, tooth, and step, when he/she graduates from kindergarten, at a school program, when he/she hits a ball for the first time, when you see your child show compassion towards another child, when your child gets their first drivers license, then at her dance recital, and when your child graduates from high school, then college, gets married, and so many more times in between...it's all priceless! When you see your child hold his/her child for the first time....those tears are some of the biggest. Then of course, the tears start all over again with each grandchild.
Yesterday, my granddaughter, Layla, graduated from Kindergarten. Last night, my grandson, Tryston, hit the ball the first time it was pitched to him! There they were again....more tears of pride!
