I've seen several blogs that received the award for Featured Friday Blog from Gooseberry Patch. I've always thought what an honor that would be. Well, guess what?????
You guessed it!!!! Yesterday, I received an message from Jennifer Connor at Gooseberry Patch asking me if I would be interested in being their Featured Friday Blog today! Ladies, let me tell you...I was so honored and excited...I jumped right on it! She emailed the questions to me and I sent them back to her as soon as I answered them!
Wooo Hoooo! Hot Diggity! I'm still excited!!
But, let me tell you this... If you ever want to have a reason to laugh hysterically...give yourself a mental picture of my little secret that no one would guess about me!

I just read your post over at Goose Berry Patch. I'm a recent fan of the GBP cookbooks and actually made one of their recipes for dinner last night :)
I had to leave a comment to tell you how much in common we have.
I am a military wife. My husband and I have been married for 6 years and have the blended family. I don't have grandchildren yet, but our first kid was married last year and we have another wedding this year. I can't WAIT to have grandbabies. The Army needs to stop moving me around though so I can be close to the little buggers.
My parents live in Arkansas, so we're almost related.
Love your blog and can't wait to read more.

Tina...what a great choice GBP made in featuring you and your sweet blog! I loved reading a bit more about you and have to tell you what my family already knows...I can't carry a tune in a bucket but doesn't stop me from belting out the songs (at home of course, lol).
